Offsite Adventure Days
Part of our Access to Adventure Programme
Offsite Adventure Days are monthly sessions designed to give families an adventurous day out in Scotland's beautiful nature. Sessions are FREE, with each adventure day providing an opportunity to explore different places and activities. The sessions are planned to help families spend quality time together in the outdoors, to try new things in an instructed and safe environment, and to have fun no matter your age or experience level.
Activities can range from bushcraft, paddleboarding, abseiling/rock climbing and hiking. The sessions will start and finish at the outdoor centre with transport provided to the activity location. Healthy snacks will be provided during the day, but you will be required to bring your own lunch. All necessary safety equipment will be provided, and additional waterproof clothing can be made available to anyone who needs protection from the Scottish elements!
These are family sessions, designed for adults and children to take part side by side. At least one adult must be booked onto the session with their family. Parents and carers must be present while their children are participating in activities and are encouraged to get involved wherever possible. The focus is on families learning, exploring and having fun together, rather than children taking part independently.
👨👩👧👦 Activity Age Guidelines
Everyone attending the session must have a booking, including all spectators, participating adults and children.
Due to the nature of the activities and locations used for our offsite adventure days, the minimum age to take part is 8 years old.
