• From Glasgow Follow the M80 towards Stirling, exit at Junction 4A (Kirkintilloch), then follow signs for Twechar. The drive typically takes around 25–30 minutes.

• From Stirling / Falkirk Take the M80 southbound, exit at Junction 4A, and follow signs for Kirkintilloch and then Twechar.

• Parking Free parking is available at the Twechar Healthy Living & Enterprise Centre. Please arrive a few minutes early during busy periods.ext goes here

• Bus Regular services run from Glasgow, Kirkintilloch, and Kilsyth. The nearest stop is on Main Street, just a short walk from our base.

• Train The closest stations are Croy and Lenzie. From there, you can take a short taxi ride or connect to local bus services.

Twechar sits directly on the Forth & Clyde Canal towpath, making it a brilliant destination for walkers and cyclists. The route is flat, scenic, and well‑maintained — ideal if you want to turn your visit into a full day out.

We have bike racks and maintenance facilities, as well as a water bowl down for your four legged friends!
