Join us at our canalside activity hub, where you'll meet your instructor and take part in a short safety briefing before heading to the axe throwing range.
Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of axe throwing, helping you develop the technique, control and consistency needed to hit the target with confidence. With plenty of practice and expert coaching, you'll be sticking axes into the target in no time.
As your skills improve, you'll have the opportunity to try a range of different throwing axes, each offering its own unique feel and challenge. From lighter throwing axes to traditional tomahawks, there's plenty to keep the session interesting.
We'll round things off with a variety of games and friendly competitions, giving you the chance to put your new skills to the test.
Mixed-group activity - This is a public session and participants should expect to take part alongside other individuals, families and groups who have booked onto the activity. Sessions are not exclusive to a single booking unless otherwise stated.
Parent/carer onsite - Any participant under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must remain onsite throughout the session. This is not a drop-off activity. Parents/carers remain responsible for their child at all times; instructors are present to deliver the activity and are not acting in a childcare or pastoral role.

Clothing: Please wear suitable clothing that you do not mind getting wet and muddy. Securely attached and close toed footwear is required to, so unfortunately no crocs, flip flops or sandals!
Weather: Our sessions will go ahead in all but the most inclement weather, so make sure you bring your waterproofs, a sun hat, and plenty of water to stay hydrated, this way you will be prepared for whatever weather Scotland throws our way.

Our facilities include hot showers, lockers, toilets, tea and coffee machines and plenty of parking!

Yes, our activities will proceed as planned, rain or shine! We believe a little rain adds to the adventure and provides an authentic outdoor experience. Our instructors are experienced in managing sessions in all weather conditions, ensuring safety and enjoyment throughout.
We recommend wearing appropriate clothing, such as waterproof jackets and sturdy footwear, to keep comfortable. If conditions become unsafe due to extreme weather, we will inform you of any changes to the schedule.

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is as follows:
Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 28 days before the activity date will receive a 100% refund.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 and 28 days before the activity date will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 14 days before the activity date are non-refundable.
However, we’re here to help! If you need to cancel within 14 days of your activity, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer credit for a future booking or reschedule your activity to another date.
