Our young adventurers have been both shocked and saddened by the amount of litter that is strewn along the canal in Twechar! Many of them have collected a bottle or two as we have paddled along, and put it into the recycling bin upon our return which has been fantastic, but unfortunately without the correct PPE and procedures in place we could not allow them to do more...

Until now! We are running our first TOPC Canal Cleanup operation, and we are inviting YOU 🫵 to come along and help!

We will teach you have to paddle, and you will get to join us on the water using either a kayak, canoe or paddleboard, and together we will clean up the canal.

The minimum age to help will 10 years old, and for anyone under the age of 16 an adult MUST join them on the water.

All required equipment and PPE will be provided (as will snacks and refreshments!).
