    As Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre is part of East Dunbartonshire Climate Action Hub our bike workshop is fully kitted out for both maintenance and for teaching the skills to the community. Book our space and a qualified service provider for a range of course and qualifications. Or get in person advice for the upkeep of your bike.

    From balance bike to Ebike - Whither community cycling events or starting with learning how to ride your bike - Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre has you covered. We have a whole host of volunteers and paid staff ready to help you on whatever stage of the journey you are at.

  • FREE Ebike Hire

    We have a fleet of 8 ebike available to hire directly from Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre, all come with a helmet. You can borrow for a solo adventure or join one of our community events coming in the Spring. Please feel free to get in touch if you wish to try one of the bikes before deciding to book a session.

  • CWAS Twechar

    Cycling Without Age Scotland (CWAS) is a national charity and we are delighted to support. Twechar has 7 trained pilots ready to take you or your loved one on our trishaw to enjoy the outdoors. We welcome visits from care homes and other organisations.

  • Van Raam - side by side bike

    Here at Twechar Outdoor Pursuits Centre we are proud to have an electric Side by Side Bike by Van Raam. This special bike is available for hire by one abled body to help give joy to someone less able to still enjoy the outdoors. You do not need one of our trained volunteers members to do this activity. You are able to book.
